The use of technology has been pivotal in advancing our knowledge of the brain, and it will continue to play an increasingly significant role in the future. In this article, we will explore the relationship between technology and neuroscience, their current state, and how they will evolve in the future.

Advances in technology have enabled neuroscientists to investigate the brain in ways that were previously impossible. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Electroencephalography (EEG), and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans are some examples of non-invasive techniques that have revolutionized neuroscience. These technologies allow researchers to study the brain’s structure, function, and activity, providing valuable insights into the workings of the brain.

In addition to non-invasive techniques, invasive techniques such as brain implants have also been developed. These implants can stimulate or inhibit specific parts of the brain and have been used to treat conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and chronic pain.
